Why does MAGNA intervene in Croatia?

Croatia was part of the main migration route along which refugees arrived in Europe in 2015 and 2016. More than a million refugees and immigrants came to Europe. Many of them fled the war conflicts in Asia and the Middle East.

In Croatia, through which almost 610,000 refugees passed, MAGNA operated static clinics and mobile health facilities. On September 16, 2015, MAGNA sent its medical teams to Tovarnik, where we opened a mobile medical facility for people gathering near the Tovarnik/Šid border crossing. MAGNA became the largest health care provider in Croatia and the official partner of Croatia for the provision of health care in Opatovac and Slavonski Brod camps.
