The war in Syria has exposed children and their families to violence, limited access to health care and displaced millions of them. The devastating earthquake that struck the northern part of the country on February 6 compounded the humanitarian emergency.

The situation in Syria is exactly what worries us the most at the moment, and we are making every effort to ensure that aid goes there as well. We are sending 20 tons of medical supplies and food to the area, and we are also preparing mobile medical teams.
